How to keep myself meaningfully occupied in Basel?

I'd be moving to basel with my hubby from malaysia, who'd be working there. My background is accounting and banking, I'm not sure if I'd be able to find a job there. I only speak english. will be learning swiss German once I'm in basel.

In the event I don't get a job, what can I do to keep me occupied? Is there any groups which organizes activities for expat woman like me?

Would luv to meet similar woman like me.
