California goes Swiss

Hi! Attempting to join in the "correct" way via introduction before diving in.
My name is Amber. Moved to Switzerland 2 months ago with my girlfriend and our dog. I am a mechanical engineer and I design bicycles. My girlfriend is currently unemployed but is a wine making master and book connoisseur extraordinaire. We are attempting to learn German and loving life here so far. We live in Luzern, like to knit warm things and drink beer. Thanks for sharing your knowledge with us!

Welcome! I am also from California...and I have mature grape vines in my garden that are absolutely LOADED with ripe grapes. We can't eat them fast enough...if you want to come over and harvest them, YOU CAN HAVE THEM...they are sweet, luscious, and at peak ripeness. I would say there is enough to produce 10 gallons of juice. Please take them now, or the birds and bees will go to town!

Karl, Thank you for the generous offer! As we just got here we are not set up for a harvest (I can't even figure out which box my rain jacket is in). But I hope your grapes find a good home.
