Hi all,
yet another presentation. I just moved to Zürich (one month ago) work. This forum has helped me alot the first few weeks and I hope I can contribute with something in the future.

Have only been to one EF event so far, the Saturday drinks (1 month ago) and will try to go to many more events.

What more to say? I am a Swede in my mid twenties and would be happy to meet some of you in real life.

I do sound boring in my presentation. Here are some additional information:

Things that are common in Zürich that I want to do:
Hike in the mountains, eat fondue, meet nice EF folks, learn Zürideutch (or at least learn some proper high-german), go climbing, feel comfortable drinking a beer on the S-bahn on my way home from work, swim in the Limmat and so much more.

Things that are common in Zürich that I don't want to do:
Start smoking, drink a dozen of cans of Red Bull each day, buy a kick-bike.

Check out the EF social activities scene some more as soon as you can. It's pretty diverse and there's always something going on.

I laughed out loud at your wanting to "feel comfortable drinking a beer on the S-bahn". Compared to the number of times I've seen people digesting their 3-course take-away meals on the S-bahn as if they were in a restaurant or cafe, you should get comfy pretty quickly swigging away at your beer!

Still can't get my head around this whole adult "kick-bike" (scooter) thing. The last time I was on one I must've been around 8 or 9 years old. Hehe!
