Greece to Vevey

Hi there everyone, my name is Paul and I came in a week ago in search of work.
I come from Thessaloniki, Greece. Currently staying at relatives in Vevey area (not having much of a social life that is)

Things actually look really good, love the country, also spent 6 years in the UK!
I might not speak French (although I understand most of it), yet I 'm fluent in English & good enough in German...

Good to be here!!!

Thank you friend! As you said, the first 499 CVs are hard! Aplying for my 500 tommorow! If it happens to know any more Greeks or expats in Laussane, it would be cool to organise a night out! Beer will do just fine...

Hello and welcome to the forum! Like you, I am looking for a job and I know it can be frustrating at times. I think it is very good that you have people you can stay with, as applying from Switzerland increases your chances of being called for an interview.

There are Greeks, but I haven't met any yet. As for other expats...plenty! I'll keep you posted!

Welcome to CH and to the forum!

There's a consulting firm in Bern actively looking for Greek IT experts. They have sent an email to the Greek Community. You can either visit the Greek Community of Bern on Facebook or send me a PM with your email address so that I can send you more info (including contact details).

Best of luck
