Welcome to the forum and Switzerland Martin.

The slow and steady approach to exploring is a good one.

If you ever get the time and chance, then why not rock up to one of the many and diverse EF social events sometime and get to meet some fellow EFers?

Have fun and enjoy!

Yes, welcome to the EF & Switzerland!

Defeinitely check out the Social Events as isha suggested, the Wednesday & Thursday evening events (afternoon/evening drinks on Wednesday, and Thursday evenings at the Viadukt) would probably suit your schedule best ...

What is it like, only seeing your family on weekends? I'm making an assumption that you're a parent, not a child, and that you're missing your children while working during the week ...

Re: New in Zürich

Hi
thanks for the greeting, appreciated.
Hi araqyl - Yes I'm also a parent. My kids are 22 and 16 so are doing their own thing most of the time but still sometimes it's hard not being there all of the time. Funnily enough not being there in the week means we seem to do lots more together at the weekends which is also cool.
Cheers
Martin
