Ireland to Switzerland

Hi all,

I have recently moved to Switzerland from Dublin, and I am really enjoying it!

Currently living in Baar and looking to move into Zurich in a matter of weeks!

I will be sifting through all the valuable information in the EF forum to get myself up and running.

I am 27, a keen cyclist, and will be looking for some new training partners!!

I hope to make some new friends and have a good time while i am here!

Neil

Hi Neil,
I also live in Baar. Welcome to Canton Zug!!

Zug men's club is a club for mainly expats. www.imcz.ch

There is bowling, skiing, shooting, parasailing, and pub nights.

There are certainly avid cyclers in the club....

Re: Ireland to Switzerland

I just moved from Dublin (Castleknock) to Zurich last week.
Finding it tough to get long term accommodation.

Re: Ireland to Switzerland

Hello,

I am not Irish, yet I love this land. And will be happy to learn some friends who speak Gaelic.

Hopefully I will have chance to visit Ireland next year.

Re: Ireland to Switzerland

Have you found your accomodation? Keep checking posters in the notice boards at ETH or UZH, hopefully you can find some good offer. Also try to look up in Migros, some people post thier offers in the public.

www.wg.ch or www.wohnung.ch could be helpful. I found my WG through this website.

What kind of music do you like? I sing in a choir recently, and trying to learn some Swiss German among the Swiss. Pretty cool
