Goodmorning everyone!

I have come to Switzerland one month ago in order to do my PhD.
Currently I live in Fribourg. So, I have finally started to settle and become familiar with the country.

I come from Greece.

Everytime is exciting to move to new places (I have also lived and studied in Greece, Holland and the UK) and meet new people!

It's nice to be here. Ideal working environment, the city has some nice spots to visit while Bern and Laussane are really close.

Yes, Fribourg is very well situated for getting to most of Switzerland. Even Geneva and Zurich aren't too far away.

Make sure to visit the smaller places too. Gruyere, Murten and Avenches are all old towns which are quite interesting to wander around. Avenches was the biggest Roman settlement in the area and has an almost complete arena where opera, rock and marching band events are held.
