Hi there! I live in Basel actually, but we can still be friends I have 2 young children so I don't have lots of time. We have a lot in common it seems and I love gay men. New Orleans is very gay friendly and I miss hanging out with all my friends from there. I was once a fixture in the gay bars. How did you know? Hehehe! Anyway, have you ever been to Basel?

Cool! Louisiana food is all over the world. It makes me so proud.
If you are cook, open up a chain operating in German speaking CH as
- Neu Orleans Beiz
and in French speaking CH (Geneva, Lausanne, Yverdon, Neuchâtel) as
- Bistro Louisiane
and in the Ticino (Lugano, Locarno, Chiasso) as
- Grotto Louisiana

Re: From New Orleans to Switzerland

Hi! Welcome to the forum! I'm from the Midwest, so not really like New Orleans at all! :-) The closest I can say is that I like country music..... ;-)

I haven't been here for all that long yet, but I definitely know what you mean about just being able to speak in English, and know 100% that you're being understood!

I also don't know much about jazz, but I'm up for learning!

Gruesse,
Kelly
