Hi ya ,

I'm releatively new to the forum and I thought I would post my two penneth on here.

I moved over from Scotland this year and I have found myself living in Thun which is so beautiful. I work at Berne airport within the local airline that is based there.

I love the scenary and the country but I really need some help on my German skills or even Swiss German.

Keep up the good work with the forum guys.

Looks like you've been around for a while. With the language, the best option would be to have some classes to get the basics down, then actually link up with some locals and talk to them. If you have Swiss workmates, use what German you have with them - even if they speak English back to you!
Either way, put in the effort - I find most people are more relaxed and helpful if they're able to speak their native language to you, and receptive language should come fairly swiftly ...
