Hopefully will be in Switzerland soon...

Hi all!

I'm currently in Greece (being Greek and all) and just went through an interview for a job based in ZH. I will know the outcome and hopefully get a job offer by the end of the week. In the past I spent a few years living and working in the UK, hence my preference for the English language. I came across this forum during my research about life in Switzerland and it has been a wealthy source of information. I hope I'll be needing more of it soon...

Re: Hopefully a Swiss soon...

Welcome to the Forum.

There are several Greeks around here so you should find someone to chat to to prevent you forgetting all your Greek!

If your title means what it looks like it means - that you think you might, one day, get Swiss Nationality (as opposed to just living and working here) I suggest you check out the information on the subject.

Edited later: The title has now been changed to more accurate phrasing... Thanks jrspet. That will keep our 'real Swiss' friends happy.

Well... I meant Swiss, as in the inhabitant of Switzerland in its general meaning. Getting a Swiss Nationality is the least of my worries at the moment.

Seems like the original title of this threat caused some confusion... Thanks for the edit!

Re: Hopefully will be in Switzerland soon...

Hello! I very recently joined this forum and haven't introduced myself yet.
I am (also) Greek working in Zug. Moved here like 2 months ago. It's been great so far but I would like to meet more people around here.
Newfish you made the right choice moving out of there!

Re: Hopefully will be in Switzerland soon...

I'm happy to report that I've been offered a job and I'll be moving by the beginning of February, with the family following later in the year. Many thanks for the valuable info found in this forum. I'm sure I'll be using more of that soon and hopefully make some positive contribution myself.

Merry Christmas to all of you and your families. I hope you have a great time during the Holidays.
