San Francisco to Switzerland

Hello all,
I will be moving to Switzerland (either St. Gallen or Zürich) with my Swiss wife and 13 month old daughter in January 2008. Bit of a gamble really, but we've wanted to relocate for a while (my wife has lived here in the US with me for 12 years now) and I need to try living out of the states at least once in my life. Looking forward to the challenge, and I really love Switzerland every time we visit. I work in web/visual design, and my wife is in the travel industry. Lots of great advice on these forums, thanks to all who have shared so much of their experience. I need to dive back into my German language studies, I'm barely passable with restaurant Deutsch.

Hi Jeremy

I have been living in switzerland for 9yrs and have 2 children Jade 6yrs and Jordan 4yrs i moved from England to be with my swiss husband i love it here its really beautiful and clean and fantastic for kids. I had problems with the language at first but went to school here (i can tell NOT easy) now its alot better i have lots of friends and when im not on the run for playschool music school dance school mummy and kids club i arrange to have tea with them and have a good laugh. I live in Arbon near st.gallen.
