Re: New climber/snowboarder in Bern

@Alexei: we were thinking about going on Saturday, probably around 8 in the morning from Bern. I will send you a PM with more details . For climbing, we can go next week at Magnet if you like. This week i will not be in Bern.

@NokturnL: I think I will go outdoor when it gets warmer, so in a couple of months. Will post here the details

Re: New climber/snowboarder in Bern

Hello,
I am new to Switzerland, and live in Stans. I have been looking for fellow climbers since I have been here, but asking around work has yielded nothing. Wondering if you (anyone) does climbing on the weekends (depending on the length of travel).

Thanks!

PS: I am a guy, I see a female bond thing going on. Hope that isn't a problem

Re: New climber/snowboarder in Bern

Hi Cristina
I moved to Bern in January, but only joined the EF a couple of days ago.
But anyway I was looking for new friends for some outdoor activities or just a simple coffe or drink every now and then.
Im a begginer snowboarder and Ive never had the chance to try climbing, although Im always up for new experiences.

So please let me know if your organizing anything soon, would love to join in.

Re: New climber/snowboarder in Bern

Hi Hallux & NewInBern,
I am still in the time-out-phase due to a small snowboarding accident. I am not allowed to go climbing for at least 5 more weeks.

I will start kitesurfing this summer though, so if there are any people interested out there let me know (will add a thread for that at the right time)

Also I would love to go out for a coffee/beer sometime. so if there are people hanging out who don't mind the extra company, i would love to join for a chat.

Ciao,
Cristina

Re: New climber/snowboarder in Bern

Hey Cristina
Sorry to hear about your injury, but if it makes you feel better Ive heared that the snow conditions are not all that great anymore, a bit slushy...but Im no expert :P

Kitesurfing sounds really cool!I did some windsurfing a couple of years ago in Portugal, but Ive always wanted to try kitesurfing, but never had the chance.
Wich lakes would you go to?

Im trying to get some people from the EF together for a drink sometime soon, if you would like to join I would be happy to let you know.
