Dear Forum,

Thank you for guiding us through this intro process. My name Is Manuel, I am originally from Munich, Germany. I have been living and working in New York City for the past 12 years. That's also where my wife and I met. We have been living in Parkslope, Brooklyn for the last 8 years where we started raising our two sons (4years, 8 months) up until now. My wife is from New York. I accepted a job here in Zurich and am preparing for the family's arrival. Currently, I am dealing with a quite exhausting and not very successful apartment hunt. Of course this is a major step for us and we are hoping to be able to settle in and start the exciting part of this adventure. We are very interested to find, exchange information, share experiences and meet new friends. We love the outdoors just as much as we enjoy museums, art and music. We are looking forward to experience Switzerland and travel to all the neighboring countries.

I work as a team lead in the translation/localization industry and my wife does creative work in the publishing sector. We cherish the time with our children and would like to get together with other parents for fun play dates and BBQs. Our older son is very social and wants to go to an international kindergarden, where he can make new friends soon!

We are looking forward to new experiences with new friends and to sharing the Swiss adventure. We'd appreciate a warm welcome and any possible tips for great Kindergarden/Playgroups for our sons.
