Is 6 months still new to Switzerland? :)

Hello! I guess I should introduce myself. I'm a 22 year old Au pair living in Zug! I am from Florida and just recently graduated college there. I would love to meet up with some other young expats that live in Zug area(so far all my friends I have live in Zurich, and meeting up can be sort of a pain). Any other English-speaking Au pairs or young women out there??

Re: Is 6 months still new to Switzerland? :)

hi and welcome
I also live in Zug. I came here in early October and I still feel very new so I would say 'yes'. Sometimes you can't speed things up especially when it comes to making friends. Take your time but try to be active as much as possible and look around for new options and opportunities. I also find it difficult to travel to Zurich and have my social life there. It would be nice to have someone here if I want to socialize but stay in town or someone to go to Zurich with. I really would like to visit clubs with good music in Zurich soon. I don't have kids (yet) so it's now or never Let me know if you are up for it.
