Basel population to rise by one

Hello all,

I am moving out to Basel from London in the forthcoming days, having travelled back-and-fore for three years, visiting my girlfriend. Having lost a best of three game of 'scissor, paper, stone', I shall be joining the merry ranks of English speaking expats in Switzerland - not a bad one to lose in my humble opinion.

I am a magazine/newspaper producer and trainee journalist. I have landed some work on an English-medium magazine in Zurich. It is very limited hours (and money) though, so I am on the look out for more work. I have found and written to a few English-language publications but all suggestions would be genuinely appreciate, no matter how obscure.

hope this finds you all in fine fettle

Hi Penfold

Welcome to Switzerland.

I notice this morning that we have an opening for a Business Writer on our website. It's in Lausanne so not ideal but here's the link anyway.

http://www.imd.ch/about/jobs/Business-Writer.cfm

I also know that we sometimes use freelance writes so that may also be an option

Good Luck
Nats

Thanks very much Nats.

Lausanne is a bit tricky in terms of full time work but I shall definately follow up the freelance work.

Merci
