My first day in Zurich

Hi everybody!
My name is George, and I've just moved to Zurich from Athens, Greece.
I wanted to thank the members of this forum, cause I found here all the information I needed about cost of life, salaries, renting a house etc, and helped me to make the final decision to move here.
Looking forward to meet you.

P.S. Are there any running partners in Dietikon?

Welcome - a few weeks ago I helped one of your fellow countrymen navigate his way from the airport to the Studentheim at Rigiblick as he was coming to Zrh for the first time for a college interview, I hope he got accepted.
Kalimera for now.

Re: My first day in Zurich

Hi George and welcome to Zürich I don't do a lot of runnig but I can recommend a god training center called Holmes Place. It's on the top floor of Jelmoli (big shoppingcenter right next to Bahnhofstrasse) and they have good opening hours But running outdoors is probably nicer now when it's summertime.

Take care!

Welcome George!

I don't run, but if you fancy attending lunch events in Zurich...keep an eye on the social calendar!

Re: My first day in Zurich

Did you just "went for it"? Or actually arrived with a job offer on hand?

Just asking because I am interested in the "go for it" vs. "job offered" ratio
