Moving in a couple of months

Hello,

We are a family of 3, Egyptians, with 1 son just turned 7, will move in a couple of months, waiting for the offer, still don't know about the package, but from previous threads it should be around 100K.
I went through the forum , very informative, knew lots of things about Switzerland which we never been to or even have a clue about living there, cost of living or anything, but the more I read in this forum the more it sheds more light, thank you for sharing your experiences.

My husband's work should be in Baden, but still have no idea where to settle Baden or more convenient to be in Zurich, as for finding children related activities. My son plays Tennis under 10, couldn't find any related info. for Under 10 Tennis, any hints, tips would be truly appreciated as we'd like him to continue with his training.
I am a SAHM, our son is in year 2, but it seems he'll start over if he went to a Swiss public school, not sure about schools yet, but a bit worried as none of us speaks German, just started with the Rosetta Stone German lessons, I hope it'll help a little, we all can communicate in English and my husband can in French too. would it worth taking German lessons in Goethe Institute before coming, it is a little far from us and we have a very tight daily schedule even on weekends, so would it worth the effort.

Don't know what else to say, just a little introduction I guess, we love outdoor activities, we used to rock climb, hike, camp, sometimes MTB, but actually that was from a couple of years ago as we are getting more and more busy, I am into multimedia and any design related things.

Many thanks

Doaa
