New to Switzerland and EF

Hello EFers,

I moved to Switzerland 3 days back for work. I have moved from London. I hope to be here for the next 14 months (probably more). Would like to say a big "Hello" to all my friends here...

Cheers

Hi and welcome Sanjay. It would help if you put your current location on your profile instead of London - so locals can get in touch and give you local based advice.

Hi Mulan,

Yes, ofcourse its a huge change moving from London to Zurich. Its like starting from scratch. Getting used to the life style / language / rules etc ...its bit annoying sometimes.
Some of the rules are so complex :-)

Cheers

I can imagine ... moved here one year back from Sydney and still adjusting. Zurich is a better place to start with, at least it's a "big" city. I stay at a town which no-one on the street after 8pm

Well i know about Vevey, the place where you live. Have been there 5 yrs back as a tourist. I guess Nestle's headquarters is there in Vevey...I still remember walking along the beautiful lake side walk closer to Nestle

Oh, you've been to Vevey before. Yes it's a small town with beautiful lake and mountain view. Switzerland is indeed beautiful but London has its own charm, like London very much
