Hi Mother Goose,

welcome to the forum! Are you already actively looking for a job - which area are you wanting to move to then?

No relation i think! (Who is Papa Goose?!) I got my nick from a Jethro Tull song. Later I found out that there is also a children's book with the same title and most think that's how I got my nick.. I really should read that book!

Hello cheekymonkey

I'm looking for a job online. I was hoping to post a thread here as well but I can't yet cause I'm a newbie I guess.
I don't have a preference concerning the area. I always wanted to live abroad and learn more languages. I only speak Greek and English. Hoping to move to Switzerland and learn French, Italian and German!

What sort of work are you looking for? What are your interests? Do you have qualifications and/or experience in any area?

I don't know if I am supposed to write about this stuff in this section but since you are asking..

I have worked in a supermarket, fast food restaurants and as a nanny. I was hoping to find a job as a nanny because I do love children but I haven't studied something related to child care. When my sister had her son 8 years ago I baby sat him for 2 years daily and that's how I learned everything. I still do occasonially, him and his younger sister. I have worked with 3 other families since. Twice part-time just for a couple of months. Last I was taking care of a 1 year old girl for 8 months.

Re: Hello from Greece

Hello,
There are always a lot of childcare jobs in Geneva and Vaud in particular. Try using http://www.greataupair.com or http://www.aupair-world.net there are plenty of jobs on there.
