My Girlfriend who is from Estonia is getting a bit worried about losing her language skills having been in CH for over 3 years and not met any people from Estonia.

If there are any Estonians out there willing to meet up for coffee/drink just to practice her rusty Estonian please get in touch!

homesick or language sick? for language you can always use Skype as long as you have any friends that are online. Or know someone who knows someone who uses skype.

Estonian language is not a problem, but long distance between our locations is I live with my family now on the french side of lake Geneva and have not seen any estonians too

Also i recommend her to watch estonian films, news or something. She can do it on internet. www.tv3play.ee or www.kanal2.ee . We do it with our family, to keep in touch with estonian news and stuff!

Reading is key too. I've been living abroad for 23 years now and I find the only way not to forget the subtleties of my mother tongue is to read, listen to the radio (via the net) and watch movies

I am Estonian too, however I live near Geneva and not Zürich.. I have found a lot of Estonians residing nearby.
