Eleanor Rigby has no particular reputation at present
A big thank before leaving Zurich

Hi everybody.
My name is Gina (Eleanor Rigby is the name of my favorite song) and although I seem to be a newbie, I am not really. I 've been living in Zurich for most than 2 years and one of the first things I discovered was this forum. My husband made an account and so we used it together. The timing of my introduction is somehow funny, because we already planning our relocation within the next few months. I just wanted to tell everybody how helpful you have been in everyday life's matters and also how you helped me to understand better the Swiss culture on many different occasions. I don't intend to leave and forget the wonderful country in which I had some of the best times of my life, so I am going to watch all the news in Switzerland through your eyes. And maybe some day I return. Thanks again for all the help and company.

You, obviously, didn't need to post a thread asking where to buy rice.

Re: A big thank before leaving Zurich

Basically, I used to search the forum for any inquiries I had. Most of the times the answer was there. The main reason I wrote this text is because I wanted you to know that sometimes there are lots of people who find significant help, without making any noise. That's why I felt like I had to thank you all.

Re: A big thank before leaving Zurich

Someone, once, started a thread, asking where to buy rice in Zurich - and one of the replies was the opening line of your favourite song.

Well Eleanor,
In the words of another Beatles song...

"You say goodbye and I say hello"

Best of luck with everything, maybe see you again sometime!

Btw, who was your husband?

Maybe you could start an argument before you go for good?

We'd prefer to at least remember you as being the poster who had an opinion that went against the grain.
