The Swiss White Pages feedback lists 17839 results for "Claudia". Seems to be a popular name for hairdressers.

If you dial about 20 per hour, you might be lucky before you die of old age or develop sores on your dialing finger.
Ok I'll give the guy some hope...

17839 / 20 = 892 Hours

Assuming he would dial for 4 hours a day, it will take him 223 days or about 7.5 months. He might also get lucky and find her quicker than that, but he might also dial all the numbers and not find her

Good work Sherlock! She also hasn't been active since "Last Activity: 06.09.2007 10:43" which is when she joined the site!

Re: Looking for Claudia from Switzerland

WOW!!!!! So much insensitivity, and inconsideration. Some of the comments are quite funny actually. Thanks to those who made some encouraging and hopeful comments. So I blew it! Let her leave without getting her number! Right? There's nothing "stalky", or abnormal about making a mistake and trying to rectify it. Stalky....believe you me, she will be super excited if she could talk to me. She insisted I see her before she left. Timing was bad for me. Believe it or not, a futile attempt to find her is therapeutic for me. By so doing I can tell myself at least I tried. I am going to strike back at some of the spiteful comments. It's immature. To the funny once I say thanks. A good laugh is always momentarily good for an aching heart. By the way a simple but not practical algorithm of finding her would be to check with the Swiss foreign ministry for entry and exit visa that falls between the 3 months period. With the 3 months sub set. Using her age of 22 and partial date 22/1990 of birth in the passport that she showed me. I should get an even smaller sub set to work with. It all data sorting. But privacy restriction prevents me from using this solution. Any life goes on. If it were meant to be something will miraculously happen. If not, at least I tried.

Tell us more Mike, I'm intrigued...

What's so special about this Claudia? What does she look like?
And if she was so special why on earth didn't you just swap phone numbers!!!

The US handles entries and exits for the US

I think you'll find your Swiss Miss did not need a visa. Given her 90 day stay, she most likely went through the visa waiver ESTA self-declaration as she is entitled to.

She told me to come see her in Pompano Beach, Florida where they had their camper or RV. Unfortunately I could not make it.
Maybe they had their RV on a campground in Pompano Beach. Usually the campground has the contacts. Ask them to write them with your contact information so she can decide if she wants to contact you.

This is not such a crazy question. I was in Savannah, GA, and this lady asked me (once she discovered I live in Switzerland) if I know the prince of Austria.

Given the fact that Austria is a republic, I'm wondering just how old she might be.

I'm sure she may have voted Romney this week. If she is still with us. Or it.
There IS a living Hapsburg pretender, so it's not as wacky a question as it might seem... Although I think the Austrians titled their heir-apparent Archduke?

Re: Looking for Claudia from Switzerland

Hey guys. Thanks for your help. I was able to locate her. Surprisingly, it was a suggestion recommended by one the post in this forum. I got her phone number, and I called her this past Saturday. Happy to say all is well. Lesson to all the haters and cynics, "Hope may not be a solution, but it invites others to participate in providing a solution". So what does that mean for you haters and cynics..."If you can't participate in a potential solution, then keep quiet" Thanks guys.

I met a woman named Nicole in Ikea on July 27th.. but, I was chicken to ask for her number and ran (when it was pretty clear she wanted me to ask).. so, I created a website to find her, did a lot of research.. etc.

my last idea was to send a card to all "Nicole's" in switzerland and hope she was on a mailing address... but I didn't because i felt creepy

then, about 6 weeks ago i gave up.. i realized that it was probably not meant to be.

congratulations to you.. that is awesome that you found her, spoke, and presumably are getting on
