I'm Val in Lausanne.

Hi all,
My name is Val and Im new to the forum. Ive been in Lausanne 3 weeks now and Im from Cork in the Republic of Ireland. I came to Lausanne with my boyfriend as he got a transfer. At present I know little about Lausanne but so far i must say im impressed with the people, culture and town. I would love to meet up with members of the forum who are living in the area for a coffee or a drink. I definatly have a lot to learn and it would be nice to hear about other peoples experiences.
Val

Dear Val

Welcome to Switzerland!

My wife and I run a (free) English speaking coffee morning every Wednesday morning from 9 am to 12 noon at Chemin des Fleurettes 36. It is just over 5 minutes from Lausanne main train station. It would be lovely to meet you and have a chat!

You can find directions on the following website: www.lausanne-english-church.com

Regards

Alan (and Paula)

Welcome to Switzerland and to the EF, Val!

Lots of EF'ers in Lausanne; I suggest that you sign up for the Lausanne events contact list.

You should also come along to one of our bi-weekly pub nights. The announcement for the last one is here, but there should be another this week, Thursday 31st.
