Re: New Zealand says "Hi"

Good Morning DanielL

Theres never too little to say, its knowing what to say and when to say it that makes a difference

Anyhoo - i am slightly oblivious to the way of life in Switzerland, and am hoping to find a little more than what i know already. Can anyone recommend any good history books dating back to the 1600 - 1700s?

Im researching my family *smiles*

Thanx in advance.

Oh and arent the ALL BLACKS mighty fine fellows lol

Kia ora PowerM

*waves* *thumbsup* to you!

So tell me, do you have a favourite All Black, or are you just a fan of the whole team? There are a few 'legends' of the past that still ring loud and true here. I guess like in many things, some will always stand out above the rest *smiles*

Hi!
My husband is from Wellington and is a rabid AB fan. Is there any other kind? When we moved to Switzerland the only thing he cared about was getting satellite TV so he could watch the games. Two years ago Novemeber we watched the boys play in Paris---it was a classic victory against the French. Cheers!

Re: New Zealand says "Hi"

Hi there Deborah

Wow - Wellington huhh??! I have just moved from Wellington myself, back to the semi rural life of the Wairarapa - your husband will or should know of it. It truely is a small world. *smiles*

Its amazing where life will take a person. I know what you mean about the 'fans' - they either love them, or they hate them lol

Well, this ex Wellingtonian says hi to both you and your husband who i guess is also an ex Wellingtonian

Welcome to the forum. It is nice to hear from a Kiwi. We both know of the Wairarapa. I have been to NZ five times and absolutely love it. We have seen a lot of the country but as they say, "You can't beat Wellington on a good day." I would vote NZ as the most beautiful country on earth--and Switzerland a close second.

I've done some family research and have some Swiss ancestors. I don't know that I can offer a lot of help, but I am happy to do what I can. Good luck.

Re: New Zealand says "Hi"

It is lovely here - although i think some through simply living here, take what NZ has for granted.

Im not sure whether i can post names on the forum, so i will flick you a message with that and what i have come to know about my family. Thank you so much for your very kind offer of possible help
