Hello Guys & Girls

Evening everyone

Just signed up so wanted to say hello to you all, my names Daniel I'm a welder/fabricator currently living in Kent back in the UK.

Few months ago I met the new love of my little life who happens to live in Switzerland...we've been taking it in turns to visit one another every couple of weeks but I have decided my new plan is to come to Switzerland in a few months time to live for a while.

Basically that's why I am on here to try and get as clued up as is possible.

Seeing as I am a welder/fabricator by trade if any of out own a workshop out there heads up on future vacancies

Have a good evening all

I have been in a similar situation more than once. What part of Switzerland are you thinking of moving to. Switzerland is a beautiful country but complicated. And the people are quite different. I am based in Basel when I am there. I am currently closing up my car garage in the UK to do healing in Switzerland, lol. A bit of a change. Being a welder should be useful to you though the qualification structure may well be different. I shall ask around and see if I can find anything out but let me know what area you are aiming for

About 10 days ago a Canadian here on EF was looking for work in welding. The job market is not very good for welders.

Hi apologies for such a late reply I have been back and forth a lot in the last couple of months haven't spent much time on the computer. Had my first ski trip was amazing haha

My girlfriend lives near Aarau, i will be bringing my car with me so realistically anything within driving distance .

I have quite a bit of certification so hopefully it will be recognized over there, failing that I have a portfolio of work which should do the trick.

Whats healing then?
