Any musicians around?

Hey,

I am about to move to Zug from Malaga, Spain. I got a job as motion graphic designer. Just wanted to say hi, and I guess an english forum is the best place to start looking for a band!. I play guitar and like a lot of stuff but mostly indie-rock-pop-brit-industrial-whatever.

Cheers,
Dani

Welcome to the Forum I'm sure you'll meet a few 'players' in here sooner or later. Good luck with your move.

Hi Dani!

Welcome to the EF! I'd love to start a band - I have a bass but unfortunately can't play it

Sounds like we have similar taste in music though so gimme a shout when you're here and we'll head for a beer and I'll rope in the other usual suspects

Re: Any musicians around?

If you are moving to Malaga, Spain why would you look for musicians in Zurich... unless you want them to go with you? Might be a good idea but with Malaga being about 2000 km away it might be difficult for the commuters in the band.

Re: Any musicians around?

Hi Dani,

Welcome to the forum. There are plenty of musicians in the Zürich/Zug area, many determined to push the limits of the sound barrier in their apartments. We have been meaning to organise a jam session in Zug, and it may happen eventually...

Re: Any musicians around?

Thanks for the warm welcome!.

I will drop a line when I am settled and ready for a drink or two. I guess that will be as soon as I just park the car and drop the boxes in the flat...
