| | Londoner in Bern
Hi to everyone in the forum, after many long nights pondering how I could meet some cool people in Switzerland I thought it was about time that I put my name out there and saw who's about, which through one route or another has culminated in me ending up here.
I'm a 27 year old bloke (as we call it) from London who this time last year had no idea that he would be living outside of his front door let alone in another country or somewhere as non-internationally-famous as Bern, but following a job offer - here I am. I have some great friends that I work with, some of whom are also expats, but I'd like to expand my group of friends a bit and generally get to know people.
If I can describe myself I would say I'm a very genuine and nice person who enjoys a good drink and a lot of laughter - I also love music (all kinds), snowboarding and other adventure sports, playing pool and going to the pub. I'd really like to meet other like minded groups of people I suppose.
If you're living in Bern and would like to meet for a drink or know of a group who meet regularly then give me a shout and I'll come along. Look forward to meeting you,
Alex

actually if you need some furniture, a flatscreen telly and a PS3, Polorise is on his 'ollydays and if you can find where he lives, pickings should be rich. Otherwise wait until he gets back and watch for his posts in the Social Events forum | This user would like to thank Lob for this useful post: | |

By the way, for anyone who's interested myself and MissBehaving are trying to setup one of these "Livers and Lovers" meet ups possibly next week. I'm going to try and trace as many expats living in Bern as I can and see if I can pursuade them to come - who knows, it may turn out to be a great night, so come along!
If you read this and are interested then let me know and we can post something up in the calendar. Look forward to meeting you all and sharing a chat and a drink!
Cheers
Alex

There might be a process to run in order to update something. Or MissBehaving could kick it off for you |
