Hi,

I will be moving to Lausanne in August/September. I will be working as a researcher in a school in the city. My family is orginally from Puerto Rico so I enjoy everything Latin American: Dancing, guitar, food, etc. I also love Indian food. I have some friends in Europe (France, Norway, etc) but I am hoping to meet people in Lausanne. Although I speak some Spanish and Portuguese, I dont know any French or German. I am planning to take some language classes before I arrive and once I am in Lausanne.

Lausanne is a beautiful place and there are lots of picturesque towns to explore along Lake Geneva. It is also fairly close to Montreux where they have the Jazz Festival every year in July. If you can make that, you'll definitely enjoy it.
