Hello! UK resident here.

Hello, so i have been researching some countries i would like to go visit and work in for a year as i have wanted to do this for a long time. I am 21 i did well in all my A levels but after that i suffered from anxiety and slight depression and i feel i need to go start a fresh somewhere and meet new people and different cultures.

Through my research i have really become to like how Switzerland is looking and was just wondering if anyone can give me any advice in general about moving from the UK there finding a job and living for a while.

I can only speak English i used to be able to speak french but i forgot 90% of it as it went unused for so long by me! would this be a problem?

Also how is it to find jobs over there i know that the unemployment rate is low which is good, i am well educated but don't possess a degree would finding work be tricky because of this?

Thanks! any other information you guys could provide me with would be great and links to information sites are welcome!

Joe :)

As you don't have any specialised skill or high qualifications I think there are very few jobs you could do without speaking the local language. Many local's will speak 3 or more languages so there is little point in employing someone who only speaks English.

Living in Switzerland has given me anxiety. It's not such an easy place to live compared to the UK, especially if you don't speak the language.
