9 months pregnant

Hi! My husband, 3 yr. old son, and I recently moved to Lugano from the U.S. I am 37 weeks pregnant and am going to meet my OB for the first time this week. I believe I will be delivering at the Clinica Sant'anna and was wondering if anyone had any experience delivering there. I am wondering what I should pack for a hospital bag - I'm not sure what they provide vs. what I need to bring. Also, any advice in general for what to expect delivering here. Any info. would be greatly appreciated! I'm starting to get a bit nervous, not knowing what to expect!

Thank you!

Re: 9 months pregnant

Welcome to Switzerland!

Clinica Sant'anna is where Vladimir Putin's girlfriend is thought to have delivered a baby girl last spring. Italian Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi's daughter is said to have given birth there as well several years:

This could be interpreted as testimony to the quality of the clinic.

My late wife and wife have both delivered there no problem.

But it depends on your OB, as they are tied to one place or the other.

Based on my non-woman experience, however, I'd go Sant'Anna no problem, (but same can be said for Civico).
