Hi - generic relocation to Basel

Hi - very happy to have found this board! I am likely to move to Switzeland in the next few weeks as I am interviewing at a company in Basel.

This move is a bit of a surprise as I applied for the job last year and didn't realise it was being considered. I have a lot to think about and put in place to make the move go well, assuming I get the job!

Thanks in advance for any help I receive.

Welcome to the forum and maybe soon to Switzerland.

There's plenty of info in the various sticky threads here on the forum and I also suggest you get hold of a copy of "Living and Working in Switzerland" by David Hampshire. It's full of useful info for both before and after you move. You can order it from your local bookshop or via the internet.

Thanks! I'll do my best not to ask common questions.
