was supposed to join years ago...

Hi all I’m a Kiwi, drawn to Switzerland by my love of the mountains (ex snowboard instructor) and now living the city life in Zürich. I’m very happy to finally join the englishforum! Should have done it years ago… but one short ‘working holiday’ in Switzerland turns into 8 years fairly quickly. I’ve really appreciated the englishforum collective genius which has helped me navigate my way over the last few years here. Usually when I google ‘how to…. in Switzerland’ it’s englishforum that comes to the rescue. Hopefully I can contribute in some small ways moving forward. I’m also looking forward to actively participating in the expat community a little more than I have to date, so I’ll be checking out different events and things over the next wee while, will be great to meet some of you in person! I’m still a snowboarder (weekend warrior), a new small business owner, into lots of different things, and generally pretty stoked to be living in this lovely city. Cheers!

Thanks for the welcome all!
Longbyt I agree, better late than never. New Zealand certainly is a great country. I think Switzerland gives it a good run for it's money though
