Wow, you're a real barrel of laughs. I can't say I've seen much in the way of wit in your posts. well, maybe half.
Lots of whit, though. And always remember, to whit, to who(m).

Re: English Banter!

The espresso sign is funny.

Witty does not have a h in it. As for the child-psychology-madness things... eh?

Also:

I'm British, not A Brit.

And courtesy of my Uncle once showing a Blue Peter presenter some of his technical drawings in the late 80s, I have a badge.

What game are we playing again?

Not that's what I'm talking about, a badge of honour far outweighs fictional points that folk are obsessive with.

HI Amy, I have just moved from UK (Berkshire) to Winterthur only 2 weeks ago, my partner was relocated to Switzerland 3 months ago, so I managed to get a transfer with my company. I am currently working from home in my old role until I transition into my new role which I start in mid September. I am similar age, I used to work in London, so used to after work drinks and the banter that comes with it. I am hoping to make friends here in Switzerland.
Welcome to Winti belfield. I am of a similar age and originally from London.

Hi Amy welcome to Winti! I don't work in Winti but I think a lot of the expats go to Paddy o'briens on Fridays after work.
Not sure if you are referring to the same meetup but there is an Expat Meetup group that typically meets at Paddy's on the first Friday of the month. The next meetup is this Friday https://www.meetup.com/expat-125/events/234483907/

The group also typically plays 5 aside on a weekly basis so may well end up at Paddy's after footie.

This looks very interesting. Not a big fan of cheese, can people join just for the beer?
