| Not sure what salary I should ask for. I had a company where they said they cant pay more than CHF120k but then another one paying only up to CHF100k. I have done some reasearch and people are paid in similar roles up to CHF150k. Difficult decisions. | |

Not knowing your field, your experience, the unique value you bring to the table, etc. it's hard to say. But do be aware that salaries have fallen in several industries and for certain job types/levels in recent years. The days of the Swiss gravy train are largely over in some, perhaps many, areas. So, if the information you are looking at is more than a year old, be careful.

'Mrs Doolittle' is the EF parrot expert, perhaps you could contact her for advice. In addition to EU/international regulations wrt moving parrots, Switzerland has some unique regulations around accomodation, etc. that need to be factored into your moving plans.
To get you started, this from the BLV:

And on accomodation and welfare, in German, French or Italian only:

But do contact Mrs D, she is a wealth of knowledge.
