Future borderer at EuroAirport Hey! First of all, is 'borderer' a real word? Let's say Grenzgänger. :D I'm both French and Swiss, grew up most of my life in France, then moved to Zurich to learn German. I worked there for 5 years, after which I came back in France to study. I finished in June and have just found a job at EuroAirport. I will be starting in January. I've always had a soft spot for Basel so I couldn't be happier. But I've decided I will be living in France for now. Saint-Louis seems to be a good choice. Rents are probably a little higher than the average in Alsace, but the new tramway extension will bring the centre of Basel right next door. I hope I'm right! Cheers alx PS I've never been really active on EF but it is really a good source. Great community. I was actually wondering, is there a linked subreddit at all? |
Re: Future borderer at EuroAirport There is no English one word equivalent for frontalier. You have to use something like cross border commuter. |
Re: Future borderer at EuroAirport Makes sense. Also, here's the subreddit I was looking for https://www.reddit.com/r/Switzerland/ |
