Hi, everyone !

After a couple of weeks of lurking anonymously and reading the advice pages, I decided it's about time I joined and introduced myself

My name's Stefan, and I'm moving to Zurich at the end of September, following my fiance, who's about to start her Master's degree at Universitat St. Gallen. It will be my fourth major move, and I look forward to settling down and exploring Switzerland, as right now I'm chasing moving companies, and dealing with the general hassle of relocation.

I'm something of a petrolhead, with a love for classic Fords and modern Triumphs, so I'll probably end up testing the tolerance of the Swiss for driveway tinkering *grin*.

Another 'lurker'. Hope you found lots of interesting information. There are no end of tips if you have time (and are persistance) to find them all. This sounds VERY interesting. Let us know as soon as you have found accomodation so that we can ask the local authorities to deal with you leniently. The Swiss are famous for many things - and you're out of luck, tolerance isn't one of them.

Something tells me I should be wary of this offer Besides, I find it hard to believe that there aren't others who appreciate sights such as these

My oh my, I wouldn't try that here unless you want to get nuked by your landlord. My car had a minor oil leakage which left some minor stains in the garage floor, I got a written complaint from the landlord
