Hey everyone, my name is Chris (37 years young) and currently living in Altendorf about 40min from Zurich.


Am looking to meet more people/make some friends preferably in or near to where I live, but of course happy to take a train to Zurich as well.


A bit about me: I currently work for a lovely family here as a Live-In Manny/Childcare. Have been working with children for just over 15 years - TEFL teacher, Football coach and in a variety of other settings. I'm also studying via The Open University (part-time) for a BA/BSc (Honours) Open Degree - childhood and Youth studies.


I have a keen interest in Sports (football and tennis - but anything with a ball!), cinema, travelling/sightseeing, psychology (I studied child psychology for a year and found this fascinating!!). I'm also joining a gym in Altendorf next week - so be great to find any fitness buddies nearby.


So anyone interested to watch some movies in English at Zurich Cinema, or travel somewhere, play some sports, keep fit or need some childcare help even - feel free to PM me.

Hi Chris,

I just moved week ago here in the same area. Let´s go play tennis! I am beginner though, but just for fun.

I came directly from Thailand and stuff I have with me is bit "inconvenient" for the weather we have here at the moment But next month I will go to Finland where I´m from and get my tennis racket and snowboarding gear and some proper clothes/shoes.

I am so excited for ski season to start and looking also friends to hit the slopes. And before that, absolutely ready to go sightseeing in this beautiful country.

I just moved, actually in February to Altendorf. Because of Corona got stuck in the house.
We are living just next to the Altendorf church. May be not that far from you i guess.
I too go to gym and was wondering to which gym you are going. Im going to the old school gym.

I was going to the Basefit Pfäffikon gym...when I had a discount - but now costs too much and I haven’t been going - so maybe looking at another gym.
