Canadian in Fribourg

Hi,

My name is Eva and I moved to Switzerland a couple of months ago.
I am 33, from Vancouver, Canada, I work in Zurich as a Product Manager for a Computer Vision spin off at ETH Zurich and I live in Fribourg.

I love skiing, hiking, biking, and love to be outdoors in general. Cannot say no to wine, cheese and chocolate either.

Really looking forward to making some new friends once this lockdown ends.

Happy Monday!

Welcome to the forum and to Switzerland.

Do you commute to Zurich every day (when not in lockdown of course)? Long journey.

Yes, essentially. I work from home one day a week, and I can also work from the train, so its not that bad, except really early morning wake up

Hate early the morning wake up. Mornings are for coffee and contemplation.

In the winter, that train was going at the same time as sunrise, so it was pretty nice

Hey!

Yes, I work at the ETH Zurich, at the Department of Biology more precisely. Do you work at ETH Zurich as well?

Sorry, I didn't precise my question. I was wondering whether the company is located at the Campus? Is it at ETH Honggerberg?

If you would like to get into specifics, it may be best to use private messaging. I'm not sure everyone here wants to publicly advertise where they work.
