Hi Khal, and welcome to the EF! It's beautiful around Tenero, I've been there a few times for underwater hockey training camps at the big Swiss sports centre there ... I think there's a local Ticinese underwater hockey team as well, although they're probably not allowed to train atm ... :/

Re: New in Ticino

Hi there, I just moved from Ticino to Aargau. But I still have "one foot" there. Going back there every weekend! Let me know if you need any info or help!

regards,
Thomas

Welcome, Khal. You chose the canton that the Swiss consistently have voted the most beautiful.

I have lived in Ticino (Lugano, specifically) as an expat for more than 10 years. If I can be helpful with questions, please do send me a PM.

Would be great if questions which are not too personal in nature were posted on EF. We are still finding our feet here, any advice is always welcome. We are also not too far from Lugano. I prefer the train as the ride is short and no need to battle traffic or find parking.

You would think a sport that requires each participant to have their own oxygen tank would be pretty safe
