Hello everyone,

My name is Johann and I am currently residing in Belgium. I work in IT and I am planning to move to Switzerland some time this year (most prob around September)

I am still not sure which city though, considering Basel, Geneva or Zurich.

Would love to hear your thoughts about this

Hi and welcome to the forum!

I hope your move to Switzerland goes smoothly. If you search the forum I'm sure you'll find many posts/threads in which people staunchly defend their city's right to be "the best place to live!".
Will you be working in the city in which you live, or working remotely?

Welcome to the forum.

Why move though?

Unless you want to learn a new language Geneva would be your best choice; Zurich is German speaking, not sure whether Basel is bi-lingual or not. If not then it's German speaking as well.

Careful, not all Belgians consider French their language.
