Hello eveybody !

Hi,

I am Adrian, new to this forum, but not so new to Switzerland. I moved here in Zurich, in November 2019, than corona happened, then social isolation, work from home, etc. etc. ... you may know the story ...

During this pandemic I just roamed in and around Zurich with an electric scooter, to know the place. Now I know a bit this city and it is not so foreign to me.
Since pandemic starts to slow down, I am trying a get back to normal life, meet some people, get back to some hobbies.

Welcome to EF, adyy. Scooters will stay, not sure how much of the pandemic world will.

No, tell us about it.

Hi and welcome. Great that you made the most of it and found that electric scooter solution.

Yep, that thing with roaming around the city until get lost and then search the way back is fun (as long as the scooter battery is not empty).

You don't have to imagine, simply leave it at home once going out. It's a lot of fun and it opens another perspective on things you get used to. But have to have your own trottinette, cause no rental works without an app AFAIK.

Well, I'm of an age group that don't have to imagine times before google map on the handy but rather reminisces them.
But thanks for the advice, I take it as a compliment

Re: Hello eveybody !

Welcome addy!

@evop: you can always use google maps like ordinary map - you stop aside, look at it, remember where to go, drive, then stop when you get confused and repeat the process.

I started to use it that way when I'm on bicycle, helps with getting to know the neighbourhood faster than when you just look at navigation instructions.
No need to leave phone at home
