My Introduction...

me too, I was looking for English speaking friends in my area. I've been here in Switzerland 28 years but in Valais 5 and left my English buddies in Lausanne I would like to get out for a coffee here near home from time to time and speak ENGLISH!!!

Re: My Introduction...

Welcome to the Forum.
I think we all know the feeling of wanting to talk ENGLISH for a change and be understood first time. However, you might not find too many anglophones where you live. Expats turn up in the most unexpected places though, so you might be lucky. At least you can join in the 'conversations' on the Forum which is something.

Re: My Introduction...

Thankyou all for your warm welcome, actually my message was in answer to somebody elses introduction but it was moved by an administrator. I'm very new to this game never been to a forum nor a chat site before (between you and me and the gate post I'm also a bit long in the tooth for it too) but the fact that I discovered all these people to "talk" to in English convinced me to give it a try.

Re: My Introduction...

Hey, don't think like that! I'm also quite green at this, but everytime I learn a new thing on navigating the sites etc, it's like finding money in the jacket that you haven't worn for months. The advantage of being "long in the tooth" is that you don't say stupid stuff as you have had time to learn to think before you hit post!
