Social activities in Baden

Hey everyone

I recently moved to Switzerland and am putting up in Baden. I've been looking for avenues to make friends here and getting to know more people here in Baden. Is there a forum or a activities club for expats to get in touch with each other or ever with locals.

Thanks.

Perhaps you could introduce yourself? There are lots of groups getting together in the Baden area but if we don't know anything about you, it is hard to know what you might be looking for. There are coffee mornings, evening get togethers and playgroups for mums, dads, babies and toddlers, just to name a few. There are tennis players, dance groups...the list goes on.

There is a yahoo group expats in Baden, and many expats have made friends at Pickwick's in Baden. Check the social events calendar here for notices of upcoming events in Baden.

Re: Social activities in Baden

Hi. Sorry, I didn't properly introduce myself. Here we go -

I moved to Switzerland from US earlier this year in June. I graduated from University last December and landed up in a sweet job with a Swiss MNC. I have to do a lot of international travel so I haven't had time to meet a lot of people outside work.

I am in mid-twenties and am looking to meet new people and make friends to hang out, eat outs, go for movies, bars/clubbing, travel partners...

..Seems a 'lil hard to make friends here...especially if you don't speak the local language!

Okay, well, looks like you will want to pass on the toddler play groups.
Sounds like the best place to start is to head straight to Pickwick's in Baden Saturday evening.
