I think in Zürich there s a lot of things going on (a lot of parties,discos..), because Zürich is a big city.

anyway you can meet a lot of people (young und old)in this forum. you can just write what are your interests, and I think you will find a lot of friends that have the same interest.
God look |

If you're male, there's no limit no? If you're a female you might look a little old in a Bar | Quote: | | | | | Thanks..i am in early 40s...is this still the case?. Don't know about Basel but keep an eye out on the social and commercial calendar, there's always good events and get togethers happening on here.

Bars are always a little difficult aren't they. A woman alone in a bar is labelled desperate, a man alone in a bar is either fishing or sad but these are stereotypes, I think it really depends on your attitude.
I don't know much about the singles scene in Basel and Zürich but if Bern is not too far for you, there are a few of us who regularily meet up here for a night out. We usually just go out for a laugh and 2 I know have stopped coming because the evenings worked so well, they got together, which was nice. We're all mid thirties to mid forties, so age isn't a problem.
You could try to join a sports club or a class of some sort which could be a way of meeting other singles too.

Don't know if you'd like to keep three models to yourself or share them out , but every Wed is a meeting of youngish (25-40 year old), professional expats. This event is part of another forum type set-up so i will mention no more but to say that it is quite lively and one gets to meet many interesting characters from across the globe.
Directions follow, Westside Music Cafe
Limmatstrasse 109
Opp Palais XTRA (Tram no 4, 13; Tramstop, Limmatplatz)
Zurich
Starts at 19h00 every Wed and goes on until the wee hours if there is a large enough crowd (most always is).
