Hello from Bell

Hi! Finally I'm able to post an intro for myself! I had been wondering for a long time why i was able to reply to existing threads but unable to post new messages but for some reason it's fixed itself.

In any case, I'm Bell (Annabel). I'm 25. I'm originally from Malaysia but moved to New Zealand with my family when very young and have lost a lot of the Malay language. English is now what I consider to be my mother tongue. I'm new to the forum but have been in Bern Switzerland now since Oct 2005 (a bit over a yr) after marrying my long time non-Swiss boyfriend (and now husband).

I spend my time job hunting (that is so not a hobby!) and playing the mighty Hausfrau (also not a hobby). I spent much of my 1st 6 months taking German intensive course at Migros (they're pretty good) and have earned my Deutsch Zertifikat at level B1. Do not intend to go further, just self learning (ineffectively) at home.

I've known about this forum for a while now but only recently decided to join. I have very few friends here, only some I've kept in touch with from language classes. I know there are many clubs here, English clubs, International clubs, country specific clubs etc, but i don't really fit in any of them categories, maybe one day someone will have a "tired of being Hausfrau/Hausmann club". In any case, I hope to make more new friends here and also be able to find some answers to any questions that might plague me in times to come.
