Just moved to Le Mont-S-Lausanne from the UK although I'm Irish, wife and two kids 3 and 10 months. Interested in meeting up with other parents with kids of a similar age.

I just moved to Penau near Le Mont. I have a daughter aged 7 and a son aged 10. Despite an Irish surname, we're English.
Fancy meeting up - my kids need some playmates and they both love babies/toddlers and I need a drinking buddy!
Although I hope you're not stereo-typically Irish in that department because I won't be able to keep up!!

Oh, and I expect my wife needs someone to natter too as well!

I'm an MS SQL Server and Reporting Services specialist and someone in a Swiss company was foolish enough to offer me a job!

They haven't been overly helpful with the move, in fact left me to do it completely on my own.

I will have a look at the yahoo groups.
But initially I will have to get cars, insurance, permits and a better place to live sorted out.

Sounds good I'll email you my contact details, don't worry about the drinking it's been a long while since I've been on form in that department. I work in Telecoms in Bussigny which is about as far as we have ventured so far. We have been here for almost 4 months now so we are still finding our way around. There are some good threads here on permits which you should check out. We were lucky enough to sort out most things without a permit but got caught out trying to buy a car, couldn't reg it without the permit, Doh.
