Boring post, don't bother reading

Hello All,

I'm a Brit that lives in France with a French wife and daughter. My son is due to arrive in July. I'm planning on moving to Lausanne to accept a job - although the salary details aren't 100% clear yet. I'm in IT (Oracle DBA by trade), I know the lake area pretty well already having visited Haute Savoie and the surrounding regions.

I've got a few questions to ask in the appropriate forums, but I've also gathered quite a bit of info already so I'll try to at least gives links to good sites if I can.

Oh and apart from this introduction I'll try and sprinkle a bit of humour into my posts.

Cheers.

Maybe try Geneva as an Oracle DBA. The salaries are better and there are more jobs as consultants, instead of staff which doesn't pay that well. An Oracle DBA should be around CHF 1500 per day.

hi veteran and welcome. Top marks for best title of a thread ever. Just one or two minutes since you posted and 128 views already. You should quit your IT job and move into PR .

D'OHHHHH!! No I didn't. So obviously he was successful in that nobody read it, at least until wupham dug it out.

Where is user "verteran" now then ? Where are the sprinklings of humour that we so keenly awaited that culminated in just two posts ? We should be told.

well if he is earning chf 1500 per day, i daresay he is too busy spending up a storm somewhere!

can that be true?

I think he meant what he said. This is a very boring thread and even he got bored of it. I'm out of here
