Looking for single mother in Geneva

Hi! everyone,

I'm moving to Geneva this october for business.
And I'm going to take my 2 sons from Japan.(6years old and 4years old)
*I'm leaving my husband alone.
But, I really worry about the child care systems in Geneva.
Is there anyone full-time working mother and using daycare for your child?
Is it easy to get in? How much is that range?

I hope to hear from somebody soooooon.

Re: Looking for single mother in Geneva

Hi, I think it is definitely doable, it is easier in a city than in the country, that's for sure. How are your language skills? I'd start here maybe, good luck!

Dear MusicChick and other full-time working mother

Thank you for your massage
The site you told to me was so fascinating! Wao!!
But, I have a partner in Japan. In addition, I can't speak French
I'm sure, the title I wrote invited misunderstanding. I'm sorry.

I just want to know about child-care arragement in Geneva, for full-time working mother who have no support from their family.
Do they hire nunny? or does Geneva have a lot of nursery open until evening?

Re: Looking for single mother in Geneva

Here is some info on your topic Mother and baby groups/creches in GE info on Geneva is later on in the discussion, otherwise search online, for a Geneva parent center, I am sure it is availble. A parent center (every community here has one) will provide you with options of day care and other info, good luck. I just realized your kids are older, then I would definitely contact a parent center.

Re: Looking for single mother in Geneva

I found Geneva child care, baby sitting and nanny service info in English, there are a number of day cares and other options to sort through...And then there is the Geneve Famille in French, check out the table.
