Spanish Mustang has no particular reputation at present
No longer raising Hell-just boys-in Aargau

Ok ,just so all you young folk who don't talk to people over 40 know. If you don't want to talk to the elderly you can politely go back to discussing the flames of youth. Am the first of family of 4 to venture on here. Have son Sam, just turned 10 at the solstice. Jack 13, to turn 14 Sept 12th. With husband Juerg, recently opened legal consultancy for international venture capitalists. Specializing in green startups. I am the Chief Whip. In another life I was a freelance writer. Am also the director of a new US nonprofit, Windcross Conservancy, to preserve the horses still carrying DNA from the original wild horses of America, the Spanish Mustangs. Currently the only 2 Spanish Mustangs in Ch reside with us in Buhler, near Alpenzell. Perhaps more to come. Have been renovating house in Buhler from last fall, moved here last March. Met husband in Tokyo 1987. Married in Karachi, Pakistan 1989. Two years in Zurich (worst years of my life.) Vowed to never live here again and for the last 18 years have pinballed Amsterdam; Kansas City, Mo; Hong Kong , Kansas, UK,(Any Leighton Buzzard ites out there-HI!); Kansas, and Aargau- which in middle age I am liking very much. Oldest son was found to be severely dyslexic, Auditory Processing Disorder at age 6 and that is one reason we have been in Ks -he has been tutored there by very talented teacher in Lindamood-Bell and other techniques for the phonetically challenged. Anyone know if there is an equivalent to LIPS in German?

A delayed welcome to the forum, Spanish Mustang! If you have a camera nearby, photos of your horses would be a good addition to this thread! I hope you like Appenzell better than Zurich. I'm not familiar with your son's cognitive impairment but maybe these two links are of interest?
