My husband just accepted an offer with a company located in Zurich so we're going to be moving from Hannover, Germany probably by the end of the year. I'm extremely excited as I loved Zurich when we came for a visit a few weeks ago and felt like I was back home in the US (San Francisco). It's a huge improvement from where we are currently living.

The company offered to pay for moving expense and brokerage fee for our apartment search and they want us to give them the estimated cost. Since this will be our first move, I don't have a clue as to the cost that will be incurred. Can anyone give me a rough estimate of moving cost and the brokerage fee we should expect to pay? I've asked for quotes from moving companies but they are either too slow to answer or want specifics like moving location, dates, weight in volume, etc.
